Amy has been a therapist for over 10 years specializing in therapy with children and adolescents. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Certified Trauma Practitioner, and Registered Play Therapist. As a Registered play therapist she is able to engage in therapy utilizing a child’s natural language and play, to help heal from past trauma and other emotional issues. She has a desire and innate ability to work with teenagers who struggle with mental health and issues that naturally occur while being a teenager. She utilizes various approaches so that she can meet her clients where they are in life. She uses a strengths-based approach which means she focuses on strengths and utilizes this to make progress in treatment.
