Hello! My name is Roxana (she/her) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I have over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health and have had the privilege to serve a variety of clients within various settings. I have gathered extensive experience and knowledge regarding issues related to mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related stress, grief, and substance abuse. 

As the spouse of a former Marine, I know firsthand how stressful being a caregiver can be. I understand the impact of grief, loss, and trauma on one’s ability to connect with themselves and others. It can feel isolating, overwhelming, and challenging to cope with. I utilize aspects of Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help clients process through their emotions and find healing in a way that feels safe, authentic, and Client-Centered. I also utilize aspects of Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy within my work.  

To that end, my focus is and has always been on relationships, whether it is within couples, families, or individuals. My passion and drive revolve around healing relationships through creating emotional safety and connection while also growing one’s sense of self-identity. Ultimately, my aim is to help you reclaim and reconnect with yourself while strengthening your most valued relationships. Having said that, I believe that the cornerstone of any therapeutic progress comes down to the relationship between the client and the therapist. With that in mind, my utmost priority is you and I strive to provide a kind, comforting, and non-judgmental environment aimed to help foster connection, acceptance, and growth.
