Meet Jessica

Jessica Ashcraft brings over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families in diverse settings, with approximately 4 years of experience providing therapy services. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Master of Science in Child and Developmental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies. As the spouse of a retired U.S. Army pilot and the parent of two amazing boys diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Jessica brings both professional expertise and personal insight into her work. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Cincinnati and her family has lived across the country throughout their many adventures as a military family. In her free time, she enjoys camping, coaching soccer, watching FC Cincinnati games, listening to music, telling dad jokes, family game nights, and coloring. As a licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT), she specializes in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. Her past work experiences include: preschool teacher, school-based therapeutic day treatment counselor, mental health caseworker, and foster care family consultant. Jessica is known for her compassionate and collaborative approach, working seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. Her extensive therapeutic background includes roles as a mobile crisis responder, Juvenile Court Intensive Home-Based therapist and Juvenile Detention Center therapist, where she provided crisis intervention, risk assessments, and therapeutic services for at-risk youth and families involved in the legal system. Jessica is trained and experienced in areas of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Juvenile Sex Offenders, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Adventure Family Therapy. She is also a member of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). Jessica is deeply committed to empowering families through resilience-focused interventions and trauma-informed care. Her eclectic approach to therapy combines various theories and evidence- based methods to meet the individual needs of each client and their family. Jessica has extensive experience working with complex trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, conduct disorders, ADHD, oppositional/defiant behaviors, ASD, and adjustment disorders. Her energetic, empathetic demeanor and dedication to ethical practice make her a trusted advocate for her clients. Jessica excels at fostering connection and promoting long-term growth and healing within the family system. Jessica is licensed in Ohio and Indiana. She is available for both telehealth and in-office sessions at our West Chester location. She also provides community- or school-based therapy as needed.
